Add skins to Internet Explorer... (version 4 or more)...

.....It's a beatiful Day!!.....
Return to summary

A new system allows you to apply skins to your Internet Explorer browser in the same way you can apply some to Winamp, for example. To apply a skin to the browser means that you can change the backgroung of the toolbars : instead of this sad grey colour, you can put for example, a nice landscape ; the toolbar buttons will appear on front of the skin.
To be able to skin your browser, you need Internet Explorer 4 or newer, and the Hotbar software. You can install the Hotbar just by awnsering YES to the question you get when entering this page. The Hotbar software is a simple toolbar which allows you to acces to several links to usefull addresses...
Once it has been installed, the only thing that you have to do is to activate it (if not automatic). You can do that by selecting the RADIO TOOLBAR from the DISPLAY/TOOLBAR/RADIO menu (there should be two RADIO options : one is for Internet Explorer ; the other is for Hotbar).
When the bar is activated, you can load a new skin just by clicking on it (you'll have to wait a couple of seconds before it's loaded and displayed).
Rem : Every skin you load on your computer stays on your hard drive, so you shouldn't forget to delete them, especially if you need space. You can do this from The list of every skin loaded on your system
. You can swap between each diferent skin you have loaded on your computer by using this small toolbar (of course, you need to have the Hotbar installed and activated to be able to do so...).

Here are some skins I designed (Yes, I know : they are horrible, but nobody is perfect...).
If you want to put more on this site, send me some (.BMP format, 256 colors, 800x135 ; If it's a life or death deal, you can put more colors......). I will put them on this site...
